This is the perfect vessel to relax and watch the spectacular. 

You will be able to watch the sunset over the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House and after dinner, at 9 p.m. the first fireworks display will colourfully fill the sky.

After the family fireworks, we will be celebrating the end of 2020  all the way up to Midnight when the most spectacular fireworks display will turn Sydney Harbour into a kaleidoscope of colour.

We watch both the 9:00am and the 12 midnight fireworks as a part of the celebration.

Remember, being on a boat in Sydney Harbour will be the best place to view the celebrations

Our Boat

Our yacht is a Beneteau Lagoon 440 sailing catamaran and is a very stable yacht enabling you to walk around yacht with ease. The yacht was built for sailing around the world in comfort (and has) but is just as happy sailing around Sydney Harbour or nearby.

The vessel is spacious throughout (almost 14 metres in length, almost 8 m wide and in excess of 2 meters in height throughout the interior) and has excellent visibility with its wrap around windows allowing you to see almost 360 degrees when seated in the saloon. Lots of hatches and open spaces makes the yacht a pleasure to be on, no claustrophobic feelings on this yacht.

The charter times can be tailored to suit you, but generally we pick up passengers at 6pm and drop them off between 1.15am and 1.45am (around 7.5 hours) due to movement restrictions imposed by the Police & NSW Maritime on departing the restricted area that we will be located in.

Option 1 – is to anchor the yacht in Farm Cove earlier in the day to secure a better viewing position. We will do this without any extra cost except the charterer would then have to organise and pay for a water taxi to get their party to the yacht. Drop off would be at the wharf of their choice (our preference is Lavender Bay wharf especially on NYE when it is bedlam everywhere else). 

Option 2 – is a normal pick up and drop off but securing the yacht in the optimum location is less likely as other private boats anchor early in the day to secure the best spots, although a good spot could be found nearby. Our yacht is one of the largest permissible in Farm Cove at NYE but if this location is not suitable for clients then we can go to any other spot we can get, but in our opinion Farm Cove is the best spot (between Opera House & Lady Macquarie’s chair i.e. around Botanical Gardens).

  • For a relaxed cosy meal we can sit down up to 20 guests in these two areas.

  •  Facilities on board:

  • Two Digital TV’s with DVD player

  • State of the art six speaker sound system – inside and outside (AM, FM, CD, DVD, iPod connectivity) with power amplifier that rocks the yacht and will impress your guests. (A number of charging options for your devices are also available although it is best to have these pre charged before you board the yacht)

  • 2 x Spacious trampolines that accommodate two adults safely on each trampoline at a time.

  • Swim ladder and hot/cold outdoor shower

  • Unlimited drinking water

  • At least one kayak and a Hobie stand up paddle board for guests use

  • Soft bimini on fly bridge

  • Large Gas BBQ
